The home that taught me
In 2019 I moved to the house that is still teaching me and we started clearing the clutter and cutting through undergrowth. It was full of the brambles thick enough to hide Sleeping Beauty. At its heart is a beautiful very old home but there was a lot going on. It had been home to a lot of trauma that needed clearing.
Today it is sunny, the birds are singing. Earlier I watched a deer with her fawn in the fields at the end of the garden. It’s difficult to remember how scared and uncomfortable I was in my home.
When things felt really bad I sought out Tim Walter from Knightsrose. The response from ‘upstairs’ when Tim started dowsing was ‘this is your work to do’. So Tim agreed to mentor me and I learnt the craft of house healing. Like an onion, there are layers to healing work and there are still layers here. Not everywhere is complicated and not everyone stays in such a home when problems start. In my case there were things set in motion that needed time to run their course.
The synchronicities and echoes in all the dowsing work dispelled any doubts I had about house healing. We all vibrate differently and bring different nuances. Some energy is just plain sticky and needs a little extra.
I would now recommend to anyone that they clear away their energies when they move home, in effect tidy up after themselves, and that they fully clear the energies of a new home before moving in. There can be a lot of subtle energetic baggage left behind.

Since Jo has done this house healing I’ve gradually noticed that conversations around this part of the home are often funny and much lighter . Nothing feels as serious as it did . It has taken a while to gather this in my mind .
